She graduated from the Santa Casa Medical Science Faculty in São Paulo in 1995.
Medical residency in Psychiatry (1996-1999) in the Institute of Psychiatry (IPq) at the University of São Paulo Medical Faculty’s Hospital das Clínicas (FMUSP).
Specialist by the Associação Brasileira de Psiquiatria (1998).
Doctorate from the FMUSP Department of Psychiatry (2003).
Lecturer in Psychiatry at the ABC Medical Faculty (2005-2012).
Chief psychiatrist at the acute ward at the HCFMUSP Institute of Psychiatry since 2007 and member of the Program for the Elderly (PROTER) and the Applied Neuroscience Research Support Center (NAPNA).
She has received awards for scientific works: Geriatric Psychiatry from the ABP (2007 and 2009), Junior Faculty Award from the ADPD (2009), and for work done in the scientific orientation of students at FMUSP (2008, 2009 and 2010).
CNPq Researcher – level 2.
She has published 50 scientific works in Brazilian and international journals and more than 20 chapters in books in the areas of aging, cognition, functionality, humor disorders, anxiety disorders, psychopharmacology and neuro-imaging.
She lectures on the USP Medical Faculty’s postgraduate program in Psychiatry.
At Gattaz Health & Results she is vice-coordinator of the clinical-psychiatric areas.
